Coffee Cups and Glumness

Have you noticed how take away coffee cups have become a fashion accessory?
People look at what your coffee cup says/looks like, summing up where you bought it from and therefore how cool you are?

Did you buy it from Switchboard (Black lid, White cup with a simple stamp)
Pushka - similar to Switchboard, but apparently oh so cool
Basso - Grey coffex cup with a biscuit on top.
Time Out (heaven forbid) yellow cup and a heap of bad service

By the way, did you notice last Tuesday morning everyone in the city was so hyper and happy because of Australia's win over Japan 3-1 and this morning there was an element of glumness in the air after we lost 2-0 to Brazil.

Either that it was the severe tiredness everyone was feeling from lack of sleep.
Damn you Germany and your 8 hour time difference!
